ATLANTA – March 3, 2015 – Metro Atlanta high school students are now eligible to apply for scholarship grants offered by the Atlanta chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy® (AABE®). Award consideration will be given to students who plan to major in business and/or the STEM disciplines and whose educational pursuits will lead to a career in the energy industry. All applications must be received or postmarked by March 27, 2015.
Additionally, students who were previously awarded scholarships from the AABE Atlanta Chapter will be able to apply for the Continuing Education Scholarship, which offers previous award recipients additional financial support to continue pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in energy-industry related fields at an accredited college or university.
All students who are interested in applying can visit AABE ATLANTA to download the application or contact Valerie Searcy (click name to email) .
