TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

The overall objective of the Technology Development Committee is to develop a set of guidelines and recommended policies to guide AABE's activities and/or initiatives in conjunction with maintenance of its website.

2008 - 2009 Deliverables

  • Craft a set of guidelines for use of its website including all its chapter websites.
  • Periodically, monitor the programs, data and format of the information on the website.
  • Recommend improvements and/or additional features to the site.
  • Report to the Board of Directors and work with the President in carrying out its work at or when appropriate, deal directly with AABE's web master.
  • Monitor the status of equipment used at the National Office.
  • On April 1, 2008, AABE successfully entered into an agreement with Filnet to develop and maintain a new national website. The new website was launched on September 10, 2008.
