Assessment Committee

This committee is dedicated to strengthening the operations of AABE through expansion of its outreach, information base and financial resources. In carrying out its work it will develop projects and activities to:

  • Enhance member skills by identifying appropriate training modules and courses;
  • Developing paths of partnerships with other NGO's;
  • Identifying additional funding resources, and spearheading development of a foundation to support AABE's scholarship program and low-income initiatives;
  • Create a resource bank containing a comprehensive database of U.S. energy companies and AABE officers with good communications skills for ready reference.
2006 - 2009 Deliverables
  • Identify 4-5 NGO's AABE can benefit from through a partnership arrangement.
  • Identify training programs and seminars that can enrich membership careers.
  • Create a comprehensive database of likely energy corporate sponsors.
  • Lay out rationale, process and guidelines for a separate foundation for certain association activities.
