Dear Members and Guests:

The Houston Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is one of eight chapters in the Southwest Region of the organization. Headquartered in Texas, member companies include (but not limited to): Entergy, British Petroleum (BP), Dominion Resources Services, Fluor Corp., MRE Consulting, New Leaf Software & Business Solutions, Osiris Investments, Chevron-Texaco and GE Energy.

Minority professionals in all energy and energy-related disciplines (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewables, government, technology, energy services and water) are welcome to join and give our membership a broader knowledge about the industry when topics arise. College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are also encouraged to participate in AABE.

Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn more about the energy industry through education, mentoring, community service and business networking. The Houston Chapter is proud to announce that it will host the 31st Annual AABE National Conference during the month of April 2008.
