The purpose of the AABE© Houston Chapter Scholarship is to assist African American, Hispanic and Native American students with the cost of pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution in energy related fields. Accepted students will be eligible for the AABE Regional and National Premier Scholarships presented at the AABE National Conference on an annual basis.

Over the past few years, the Houston Chapter of AABE© has awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships to more than 40 well deserving students who are currently pursuing degrees in energy related fields. We have also assisted in mentoring youth; as well as helping them to increase capabilities in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) areas.
