California Chapter History

The Southern California Chapter of American Association of Blacks in Energy®, chartered December 9, 2000, was previously known as the Los Angeles Chapter. The Chapter has expanded its geographical areas to include south of Fresno, California in the north, the Pacific Ocean on the west, to the borders of Arizona, Nevada and Mexico. The Southern California Chapter has received four consecutive "Chapter of the Year" Awards since 2004. In 2013, California merged all chapters into one, California Chapter.
