AABE BOARD COMMITTEE

NOMINATIONS & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE

  • Article Ten of the AABE by-laws defines the responsibilities of the Nominations and Elections Committee, and Article Eleven defines the Finance Committee.
  • The Nominations and Elections Committee shall be responsible for nominating the officers and the Board Members of the Association.
  • It shall be responsible for conducting the Association's elections which shall be by secret ballot at the General Membership Meeting.
  • The Committee shall certify the eligibility of persons for all elective positions.
  • Six Board seats are available for the 2009 - 2010 term of office.


Candidates for the 2009-2010 Officer positions on the AABE National Board of Directors were announced at the December Board meeting in Orlando on December 6, 2008.


The AABE National Nominations & Elections Committee Chairperson is Rufus Gladney (CMS - MI). The election and installation ceremony will be held during the AABE General Membership Meeting and James E. Stewart Gala at the 32nd Annual AABE National Conference in Orlando, Florida on Friday, April 17th.
