Baltimore Chapter Chapter Home

Dear Members and Friends:

The Baltimore Chapter of the African American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) welcomes you!

Our chapter includes members from the surrounding energy companies: ICF,  Constellation, BGE, MD Energy Advisors, EnTel, Abeona Group, to name a few. As noted on the list of companies, AABE Baltimore has also created a unique space for entrepreneurs in the energy space to thrive.

Our chapter’s mission is to promote the overall agenda of AABE’s national office, by facilitating events that ensure the input of African Americans and other minorities into the discussions and developments of energy policies, regulations, R&D technologies, and environmental issues. In addition AABE Baltimore strives to meet the needs of our community within Maryland, through energy education, school partnerships, community service and business networking.

Professionals and businesses from all energy and energy-related fields (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewable, government, technology, energy services, and hydro) are welcome to join our chapter.   We believe that each of these disciplines provide our membership and community with a broader knowledge of the varied and unique aspects of the energy industry. Additionally, we encourage college students who are studying in energy related fields; or those who have interest in the energy industry to participate in AABE.

Most importantly, we welcome any person or  organization who has an interest in learning about the energy space!

On behalf of our officers, commitee chairpersons, and members of AABE© Baltimore Chapter, we thank you in advance for joining us in our mission!
