Welcome to the AABE Arkansas Chapter Website
Dear Members and Guests:
The Arkansas Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is one of six chapters in the Southwest region of the organization and is the 2018 recipient of the Chapter of the Year Award.  Members' companies include (but not limited to): Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation, Entergy-Arkansas, Southwest Power Pool, Midcontinent Independent System Operator and the Arkansas Public Service Commission.
Professionals in all energy and energy-related disciplines (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewables, government, technology, energy services and water) are welcome to join and give our membership a broader knowledge about the industry when topics arise. College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are also encouraged to participate in AABE.
Our mission is to support the advancement of minorities in energy careers and to serve as a resource for policy discussion on the economic, social and political impact of envrionmental and energy policies on African Americans and other minorities.
As you navigate through our website, please view our mission, senior officers, committees, activities and programs. I look forward to your participation in AABE.
