About Us

The AABE Oklahoma Chapter is one of nine chapters in the Southwest Region of the organization. Headquartered in Tulsa, our chapter is currently in the revitalization stage. Volunteers are needed to join and participate in AABE Oklahoma Chapter related events. Notable members included the late James E. Stewart (ONG) and current President of ONEOK Distribution Company Samuel Combs III.

Our chapter is dedicated to developing young minds to pursue careers in the energy field. In 2002, the Oklahoma Chapter formed its student chapter at the University of Tulsa. The Oklahoma Chapter also offers professional development and community service programs for its membership.

Our chapter was honored to host the 15th Annual AABE National Conference in 1992. The Oklahoma Chapter was proud to co-host the 2008 AABE 31st National Conference in Houston, Texas during the month of April. All AABE Southwest Region chapters were actively involved in developing this event.
