The AABE Institute provides training, technical assistance, market information, supplier and partnership opportunities as well as other business solutions for our stakeholders in the U.S. and globally.

Vision

To be the leading resource for energy issues and opportunities in Africa, the Caribbean and the Diaspora emphasizing sustainable development.

Mission

To support and catalyze energy sector development in Africa and the Diaspora.

1. Promote awareness of energy’s role in economic development and national security;
2. Provide Training & Capacity Building to Develop Energy Infrastructure & Policies.
3. Identify, broker and catalyze opportunities for AABE’s private sector members.

AABE Institute Program Areas

1.  INTERNATIONAL CHAPTER DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

The AABE Institute is responsible for identifying countries, program opportunities and strategic partners that can help advance AABE’s mission to the benefit of the global Diaspora.

2.  EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (ELP)

The AABE Institute will also facilitate the professional development of our members and target markets through education and training to prepare individuals for leadership opportunities in the global energy marketplace.

The ELP will provide participants with the tools required to be considered for “C” Suite positions. Classes will include industry leaders as guest speakers and mentors.  International participation will also be encouraged.  Participant profile:  Managers and senior professionals in utilities, oil and gas companies, government and regulatory authorities.

3.  ENERGY ENTREPRENEURS

The Energy Entrepreneurs program seeks to provide value added services to help our members increase their awareness of and ability to access business opportunities in the U.S. and globally.

When necessary, the Institute will utilize a special purpose company to enter into Public Private Partnerships to help catalyze and participate in business opportunities that benefit AABE’s private sector members.
