Please join us to hear George Williams, Chief Executive Officer – PMI Energy Solutions, LLC.and Chairman of the Board – American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), as he provides us with an informative discussion on career development paths in the energy industry.  Mr. Williams has 27 years in the electric industry.  He is currently responsible for electrical construction and maintenance services in the utility industry.  Services include storm restoration, directional boring overhead & underground electrical distribution and fiber optics installations. 

Prior to his current role, Mr. Williams served as Chief Operating Officer at El Paso Electric Company.  As COO, Mr. Williams oversaw the generation, construction, transmission & distribution, system operations, environmental, health & safety, and outage and emergency response.  Mr. Williams also served as Senior Vice President of ComEd for three years prior to moving to El Paso Electric Company.  He has also held various executive and senior operational positions with Entergy, PPL Susquehanna, Progress Energy and PECO Energy. 

In addition, Mr. Williams is an active member and board member on numerous civic and professional organizations including AABE, Illinois State Black Chamber of Commerce, Alliance of Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs (ABLE), Business Leadership Council, Museum of Science & Industry Black Creativity Advisory Board and the Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce.
