AEG and AABE Unite for Houston's "Equity in Action" Event: A Resounding Success!
 
Houston, Texas - October 13th, 2023 — Advanced Energy Group (AEG) and the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) joined forces in a momentous event that captured the commitments made at the 2023 AABE National Conference in Houston, Texas. The " Equity in Action" event, hosted at the Ion has been hailed as a resounding success, leaving the Houston energy community empowered and energized.
 
The "Equity in Action" event brought together thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and advocates committed to realizing a future where federal energy incentives are maximized for communities in need. It showcased AEG and AABE's shared vision for a world where everyone has access to opportunities for a healthier life and environmental justice.
 
Highlights of the Event - Attendees were treated to an array of insightful panels, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities that addressed key issues impacting those in the energy capital. Some of the event's highlights included:
