HBCU STEM Fellowships Available

March 8, 2010

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) is critical to the growth of the energy industry.  Today, graduates in these studies are more important than ever.  The HBCU STEM Fellowship is a unique opportunity for those who are interested in pursuing STEM at the graduate level.  This   program recognizes the important role that our nation's historically black colleges and universities play in higher education.

Fellowship recipients will receive up to $20,500 in financial assistance for tuition and other academic fees as well as a stipend for living expenses.  The deadline for fellowship applications is March 19th.  Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early because funding is limited.  You do not need to have to wait until you're accepted into a graduate program to apply.  For more information about the HBCU-STEM Fellowship, go to www.gradopp.org/index.html.
