Description
Career-related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization, under supervision of the hiring manager. This internship position provides mentoring and practical hands-on experience in a Nuclear Plant environment. It offers challenging projects and assignments. It offers exposure to plant activities, leadership and culture (i.e. staff meetings, networking, and meetings with key site personnel).
Positions are for summer 2013.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position the applicant must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking an Electrical, Civil, Nuclear, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering bachelor's or master’s degree. Candidate must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Ideal candidates will have finished sophomore or junior year.
Candidate must also have excellent written and oral communication skills, along with proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional suite.
