The Good Jobs in Clean Energy (GJCE) Prize (Phase 1 - Up to $50,000 for 15 coalitions)

The Good Jobs in Clean Energy Prize is a $3.375 million competition aimed at fostering coalition-building to create quality, accessible jobs in the clean energy sector. It focuses on developing equitable workforce partnerships. Coalitions must include members from labor organizations, clean energy employers, community-based organizations, public agencies, and education/workforce providers. The competition has three phases: coalition formation, action plan development, and implementation. Winning coalitions receive financial support to advance their initiatives. For more details, you can check the full prize page here.

The AABE National Office will convene Office Hours and Town Halls until January 31st, 2025. Get ready to accelerate your journey toward winning the NREL Good Jobs in Clean Energy Prize! These office hours in October, November, and December are your chance to engage with AABE Coaches, sharpen your strategies, and build your coalition. Phase One winners will receive $50,000 to further develop their coalitions, which must include at least five key stakeholders.
